Where are you checking to see that it's low on hydraulic fluid? The tractor's main hydraulics sump for the 3 point lift is also the rear axle/differential housing.

Exploring the Hydraulic Parts Diagram of the Ford 3000. As Ultradog said, there's a few places to put fluid in that model tractor Where is this plug located and what does it look like? Also, does the tranny fluid fill the rear end, 3-point hydraulics and power steering, or is there seperate fills for each? One last thing, what fluid should I use? Thanks!
